Project New York

For a client in New York, Prins Group, in collaboration with its partner Prins USA, realized a modern production greenhouse with warehouse, suitable for both lettuce and tomato cultivation. The project consists of two separate greenhouses, each designed with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and optimal growing conditions.

This Venlo greenhouse with aluminum gutters has a surface area of 11,392 m². The structure consists of trusses of 9.60 meters and a column height of 6.00 meters. The roof size is 3.20 meters and the bay width is 4.00 meters. The roof is fitted with 1000 mm wide glass, while the roof of the business space is fitted with 40 mm sandwich panels. For an optimal climate, 4-pane roof vents with a depth of 1000 mm and facades with 8 mm SDP panels have been applied. For cultivation, the Prins Leafy Greens System was used. In addition, the greenhouse is equipped with an energy screen for efficient energy management.

The second greenhouse, intended for tomato cultivation, has a surface area of 4,368 m². Here too, it is a Venlo greenhouse with aluminum gutters. In this case, the structure consists of trusses of 8.00 meters and a column height of 6.70 meters. The roof size is 4.00 meters and the bay width is also 4.00 meters. The cladding of the roof and facades of both the greenhouse and the warehouse is the same as in the lettuce cultivation section.
